ARLINGTON, Texas - The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Wednesday the postseason all-conference volleyball teams and major awards as selected by the league's seven head coaches. Utah Valley’s Avery Page was named the WAC Player of the Year, while her Wolverine teammate Evalyn Chism was selected WAC Setter of the Year. Tarleton State’s Morgan Carter and Alyssa Dinh captured the WAC Libero and Freshman of the Year awards, respectively. Utah Tech’s Camilla Hafoka was chosen as the WAC Coach of the Year.
Page, a senior outside hitter, led Utah Valley to its first conference regular season title. Page notched a WAC-best 4.25 points per set this season during league play which included a total of 134 kills, 36 total blocks and 17 service aces. Page finished the conference season with a .314 hitting percentage, the third best in WAC. She recorded double-digit points in all but two of 24 Utah Valley matches this season, including a season-high 25 points versus Coastal Carolina (9/13).
Chism, a junior setter, assisted the Wolverines to the 2025 WAC regular season championship. Chism registered double-digit assists in all but one match for Utah Valley this season and totaled at least 30 assists in eight matches. Chism led the Wolverines to the best team hitting percentage in WAC play, as the team recorded a .257 hitting percentage over the final 12 matches.
Carter, a redshirt-senior libero, totaled 372 digs throughout the season for an average of 3.96 digs per set. Carter collected double-digit digs in 22 of 24 matches this season including a season-high of 25 digs against Louisiana (8/30) and UT Arlington (10/30).
Dinh, a freshman middle blocker, registered the best hitting percentage in the conference in 2025, hitting .326 over the year. Out of her 15 matches played, Dinh had six matches where she finished with a hitting percentage over .250 with at least 10 attempts. Dinh tallied a season-high 16 points against UT Arlington where she recorded a season-high 11 total blocks along with 10 kills. Dinh concluded the regular season with 1.13 blocks per set, the sixth-most in the WAC.
Hafoka guided Utah Tech to its first-ever WAC regular season championship. Hafoka led the Trailblazers to a 19-5 overall record, a 10-2 record in WAC play and a 9-0 home record in the 2025 season, the first time in program history the Trailblazers were perfect at home in a season. This season was the first time Utah Tech reached 19 wins since the 2019 season. Utah Tech led the conference in all games in hitting percentage (.226), assists per set (12.14), digs per set (14.70), opponent hitting percentage (.145) and kills per set (13.38). The Trailblazers opponent hitting percentage ranked the fifth-best in the nation.
