ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon's Bella Crossman and the team of Bella Crossman and Angelina Mihajlovic have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Week, for the competition week ending on Sunday, Feb. 9. 

Crossman extended her perfect singles record to 5-0 this season with a notable performance over the weekend. On Saturday, she claimed a hard-fought three-set victory against Stephen F Austin. She continued her winning streak into Sunday, securing a straight-set win over a competitor from UT Arlington.  

The freshman doubles duo of Crossman and Mihajlovic clinched a vital tiebreaker in the deciding set against Stephen F. Austin on Saturday. This win was crucial, as the doubles point they secured was the determining factor in Grand Canyon’s narrow 4-3 victory over the Ladyjacks.
