ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon's Brice Patoux has been named the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, for the competition week ending on Sunday, Feb. 23.
 
Patoux, a sophomore competing on Court 2 for the Lopes, played a pivotal role in their 4-2 victory over a ranked UNLV team this Sunday. His performance was highlighted by a decisive three-set match, clinching the match with scores of 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. Earlier in the week, Patoux demonstrated resilience in a match against Pacific, which was left unfinished after forcing a third set.
