ARLINGTON, Texas – Southern Utah’s Jaedyn Carpenter and Tarleton State’s Joren McKeever have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, for the competition week ending on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Carpenter, a junior, captured the 400m dash at the Ron Mann Classic on Jan. 31 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Carpenter clocked a winning time of 47.15 (converted from 46.94) to post the second ranked time in the WAC and 50th NCAA time as of Feb. 5.

McKeever, a senior, placed third in the high jump at the Stan Scott Invite & Multis on Jan. 30 in Lubbock. McKeever cleared 2.12m (6-11.5) for the second highest mark in the conference and 32nd ranked clearance in the NCAA as of Feb. 5.
