ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Jenna Anderson has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week, for the tournament week ending on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
 
Anderson, a junior, posted a solo second-place finish at the spring season-opening Wigwam Preview with a final score of 2-over-par (71-71-76=218). The score was her 54-hole collegiate career best and the third-lowest individual score posted by a Trailblazer this season.
 
Anderson was one of only two golfers in the field to post a red number in round one as she rolled in three birdies and 14 pars en route to a 1-under-par 71 to stand tied for first. She followed that up with another 71 in round two, including birdieing four of her final six holes, leading by three shots heading into the final round. Anderson penciled in four birdies in the final loop and led Utah Tech to a tie for the runner-up spot in the team leaderboard.
