ARLINGTON, Texas –cUT Arlington's Meethre Barot and the doubles team of Barot and Pedro Sasso have been honored as the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Tennis Players of the Week, for the competition week ending on Sunday, March 2. 
 
Sophomore Meethre Barot successfully clinched back-to-back wins that played a pivotal role in extending UT Arlington's winning streak to three matches. On Wednesday, Barot delivered a decisive 6-3, 6-3 victory over Texas A&M – Corpus Christi on Court 4. He continued his win streak into Thursday, defeating his opponent from Abilene Christian 6-1, 6-4, helping to break Abilene Christian’s seven-match winning streak. 
 
In doubles, the pairing of Barot and senior Sasso dominated their matches this week, contributing significantly to UT Arlington’s success. On Wednesday, the duo earned a 6-1 win over their Texas A&M – Corpus Christi opponents on Court 1. They followed up with a 6-3 victory against Abilene Christian on Thursday. Their performances were instrumental in UT Arlington securing the doubles point in both matches.
