ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week, for the tournament week ending on Tuesday, Mar. 4.
 
Honea, a junior, captured her fifth career individual title and helped the Wildcats to the team championship in the West Texas Classic on Mar. 3-4 that was brought to a premature end due to heavy winds. Honea carded rounds of 67-71 to finish 2-under-par, the only competitor to finish under par in the tournament. Honea led the field with eight birdies, posting four in each round.
