ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has announced the bracket for the 2025 WAC Women’s Basketball Tournament on March 11-15 following the conclusion of Saturday’s games.

The Grand Canyon Lopes have clinched the No. 1 seed in the tournament after a perfect 16-0 conference record and 29-2 overall record in the 2024-25 season. The Lopes will await the winner of the opening round matchup of No. 8 Utah Tech (5-24, 1-15 WAC) and No. 9 Seattle U (4-25, 1-15 WAC) who will kick off the tournament on March 11 at 12 PM MT at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah. The winner will take on the Lopes for the first game of the quarterfinals on March 12 at 12 p.m. PT at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tarleton State (19-12, 10-6 WAC) has earned the No. 2 seed and will square off against No. 7 Southern Utah (9-20, 7-9 WAC) also on March 12 at 2:30 p.m. PT.

The second session of the quarterfinal games will take place the following day on March 13 starting at 12 p.m. PT with No. 4 Abilene Christian (20-11, 9-7 WAC) and No. 5 Utah Valley (17-11, 9-7 WAC) followed by No. 3 UT Arlington (15-12, 10-6 WAC) facing off against the defending tournament champions No. 6 California Baptist (12-18, 9-7 WAC) at 2:30 p.m. PT.

The semifinals will be on March 14 starting at 12 p.m. PT with the winner of No. 1 GCU vs. opening round victor taking on the winner of No. 4 ACU vs. No. 5 UVU. The winner of No. 2 TSU vs No. 7 SUU will face the victor of No. 3 UTA vs No. 6 CBU at 2:30 p.m. PT.

The 2025 WAC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be streamed on ESPN+ with the championship game airing live on ESPNU at 12:30 p.m. PT on March 15.
