ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon University’s Casey Tow has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the meet week ending on Sunday, April 13.

Tow, a senior multi-event competitor, delivered a standout performance in Group A of the decathlon at the 2025 Bryan Clay Multis. Competing against a field that included athletes from programs like Oregon, Colorado State, and Purdue, Tow totaled 7,451 points—good for fifth place in his group and the highest decathlon score in the WAC this season. The mark also places him 17th in the NCAA national rankings.

His impressive showing at Bryan Clay pushed him into the WAC’s top 20 across eight individual events. In addition to leading the conference in the decathlon, Tow is currently ranked seventh in javelin, 11th in both long jump and pole vault, 15th in high jump and 110-meter hurdles, 18th in the 400 meters, and 19th in shot put.
