JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – United Athletic Conference (UAC) Executive Director and Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Commissioner Jeff Bacon announced Thursday that Noah Walter is the newest addition to the UAC office staff naming him the Assistant Director of Football Operations. In addition, Walter will also serve as ASUN Assistant Director of Football and Basketball Operations.
“I would like to congratulate and welcome Noah to both the United Athletic Conference and Atlantic Sun Conference families," Bacon said. "We look forward to his valuable contributions as we continue to build on the recent successes of both the UAC and ASUN.”
Walter joins the league after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations and Video Coordinator for the University of West Georgia from June 2022 to May 2025. While with the Wolves Women's Basketball program, he oversaw team logistics, game film analysis, and daily operational support.
Prior to his time in Carrolton, Walter held the role of Head Student Manager for the Florida State Women’s Basketball team from August 2021 to July 2022. In this capacity, he managed equipment logistics, supported coaching staff with practice planning, and played a key role in coordinating team activities during a competitive ACC season. He begins his duties with the UAC/ASUN on June 23.

The United Athletic Conference is a single-sport (Football) NCAA conference with nine participating institutions: Abilene Christian University, Austin Peay State University, University of Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky University, University of North Alabama, Southern Utah University, Tarleton State University, Utah Tech University and University of West Georgia. Entering its fifth year as a formal partnership but its third as a single entity, the UAC will feature an eight-game conference schedule in 2025 while recognizing a conference champion and holding an automatic qualifier spot for the FCS Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season.
