NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Heading into the third season for United Athletic Conference (UAC) Football, the league will kick things off with its Preseason Media Day set for Wednesday, July 16 at the BetMGM Sports Lounge in Bridgestone Arena. The event will be carried live on ESPN+ from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT.

The UAC held its first two Media Day events in Dallas but made the move to Music City for this year's event in part to highlight the site for the FCS Championship. The title game will be played Jan. 5 at Vanderbilt's FirstBank Stadium.

For the fifth year and third under the UAC banner, football playing members from both the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) and Western Athletic Conference (WAC) will compete, over an 8-game schedule, for the conference crown and AQ bid to the FCS Playoffs.

All nine members of the league will be represented by their head coach and selected student-athletes from both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. The attendees will participate in the live interview portion on ESPN+ as well as several promotional photo/video and social media sessions.

In addition, the festivity includes the announcement of the UAC's Preseason All-Conference Awards and Coaches' Preseason Poll along with comments about the conference from both Commissioner Jeff Bacon (ASUN) and Commissioner Rebekah Ray (WAC) .
