UAC FOOTBALL -- With only the calendar turning to August, full attention has turned to college football and action on the gridiron for the third season of play in the United Athletic Conference (UAC).  The Stats Perform FCS Preseason Top 25 Poll was released (Aug. 4) with a quartet of league squads included in the listing.

Tarleton State, the preseason favorite in the UAC and 2024 FCS Playoff participant, topped the charts fo the league claiming the No. 10 ranking, while defending UAC Champion and 2024 FCS Playoff participant, Abilene Christian, garnered the No. 16 spot in the polls. Southern Utah and EKU (another 2024 FCS Playoff participant) were both included in the receiving votes list.
