ARLINGTON, Texas – California Baptist’s Victor Rosas has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week, for the competition week ending on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Rosas, a junior, paced a dominant CBU men’s team effort in the men’s 7K of the San Diego State Aztec Coastal Classic on Aug. 29, claiming the individual title with a winning time of 21:49.70. The Lancers secured the top seven positions on the final individual standings to score a perfect 15 points, besting UC San Diego (50) and San Diego (84) to capture the team victory.
