JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) highlights the Women's Soccer competition for this upcoming Sunday, October 25.
Central Arkansas hosts Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. CT to kick off the second round of intra-divisional competition. Both teams are coming off unbeaten weeks as the Bears claimed a pair of wins from Austin Peay and North Alabama, while the Wildcats defeated West Georgia and drew with EKU.
West Georgia heads to Austin Peay for a 1 p.m. CT battle for the final conference tournament spot in the Blue Division. A win for the Governors clinches their spot in the tournament, while a win for the Wolves keeps their postseason hopes alive.
Tarleton State squares off with Little Rock at 1 p.m. CT as both squads are also coming off unbeaten weeks. The Texans outscored their opponents last week, EKU and West Georgia, 6-0, and the Trojans were able to collect four points following a draw with North Alabama and a win over Austin Peay. Tarleton State can punch their UAC tournament ticket with a win over the Trojans.
The top two teams in the Blue Division meet for one final time in the regular season as North Alabama plays EKU at 1 p.m. ET. The last two times these teams played, the Colonels pulled off a 3-2 victory on the road. A win for EKU this week can clinch the Blue Division championship outright, while a draw with UNA can clinch the Colonels at least a share of the title.
