Abilene Christian, Austin Peay and North Alabama Earn Weekly Football Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced its weekly football awards for the week of Oct. 5 with Abilene Christian, Austin Peay, and North Alabama taking home honors.

Abilene Christian’s Tucker Parks earned this week’s Offensive Player of the Week after going nearly perfect through the air, 16-of-17, for 155 yards and three touchdown passes in the Wildcats 35-7 win over No. 17 West Florida. Parks recorded ACU’s longest play from scrimmage in 2026 - a 57-yard carry - en route to a team-best and career-high 97 yards rushing.

Leo Glover was a dominating factor in North Alabama’s 20-16 win over EKU where he became the first UNA player since 2023 to record two interceptions in a game. Glover, a redshirt sophomore from Florence, Ala., added in 11 tackles, two tackles for loss and one pass breakup in the win.

Austin Peay’s Denver Harper took home the Freshman and Specialist of the Week awards after he amassed 227 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in Austin Peay’s 42-17 win over New Haven. The redshirt freshman opened his scoring with a 10-yard receiving touchdown before scoring twice on special teams - one off a punt for an 82-yard scoring return and a kick-six, the first in the program’s history, to become the first Gov with two special teams touchdowns in one game.
