JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) highlights the Women's Soccer upcoming competition for the week of October 7.
Abilene Christian extended its unbeaten streak to five consecutive matches following a 1-1 draw with UCA last week and sits atop of the Red Division at 1-0-2. The Wildcats got two road matches this week as they head to North Alabama on Thursday, then to Austin Peay on Sunday.
Austin Peay notched its first conference win since 2024 with a 3-1 victory at West Georgia last week and will look to carry the momentum into the new week, hosting Tarleton State on Thursday and Abilene Christian on Sunday.
Central Arkansas has scored in every conference match so far as the Bears are currently tied for second in the Red Division at 1-1-1. The Bears begin the week at the UAC undefeated EKU on Thursday and will follow with a battle at West Georgia on Sunday.
EKU stands as the final undefeated team in conference play at 3-0 and has outscored its conference opponents 8-3 to begin the league schedule. The Colonels will host a pair of Arkansas foes as they square off with Central Arkansas on Thursday followed by Little Rock on Sunday.
Little Rock has been able to produce two draws in its first three conference matches including a 3-3 final with Tarleton State last week. The Trojans will hit the road this week and will head to West Georgia on Thursday, then to EKU on Sunday.
North Alabama suffered its first conference loss last week, and first loss in its last five matches, in a tight 3-2 battle with EKU. The second place team in the Blue Division will continue its home stretch with matches against Abilene Christian and Tarleton State this week.
The high-powered offense of Tarleton State will stay on the road this upcoming week as they head to Austin Peay on Thursday followed by a trip to North Alabama on Sunday. The Texans have scored at least two goals in each of their last six matches.
West Georgia is back for a pair of home matches against Little Rock on Thursday and Central Arkansas on Sunday. The Wolves will look to use the home field advantage to get their first conference win of the season.
