ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Ca’terrin Cox and Johnathon Rodgers have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, for the competition period between March 23rd and 31st.
Cox, a senior from Ennis, Texas, set a new school record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.74 at the Clyde Hart Classic in Waco, Texas. That’s the best time in the WAC and the 11th fastest time in NCAA DI this season.
Rodgers, a sophomore from Nassau, Bahamas, had the second-best triple jump in the WAC this season with a leap of 15.23 meters (49’11.75”) also at the Clyde Hart Classic. Rodgers’ jump is the 4th best in program history.
