ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Samantha Phelan is the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week for competitions between Thursday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 15.
 
Phelan, a junior from Henderson, Nev., tied for second place individually during the Montana State Bobcat Desert Classic at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz. Phelan finished just three shots off the pace with a two-under-par 214, for her best collegiate finish and sixth career top-five. The Trailblazers finished third overall in the 13-team field.
