JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced its weekly award winners for men’s and women’s golf for Thursday, Sept. 17.

MEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Sam Norman, Central Arkansas
Norman led a Central Arkansas team to a third place finish, one stroke behind first place, at the Sandestin Collegiate Classic with a share of 13th place. Norman knocked in seven birdies over the course of the tournament and carded a birdie on the par-five 11th hole in round one.

WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week:  Jillian Breedlove, Austin Peay
Breedlove continued her stellar play from last season after a share of second place at The Velvet Classic this week. Breedlove led the Govs with a 219 (+3) final score and led the team to a playoff against West Florida for the top team spot.
