NOTABLES
  • Abilene Christian scored 20 unanswered points in a span of eight minutes in the fourth quarter to earn its first win of the season over Idaho. After back-to-back field goal makes from Brandon Perez, Obi Udom recovered a fumble for seven-yards while Tucker Parks found Deonte Dean for a 37-yard reception to go up 41-24 with less than nine minutes left in the game.
  • Colton Fitzgerald recorded the first 300-yard passing game by a West Georgia quarterback since Quincy Casey threw for 3-04 yards against Shorter in 2024.
  • Austin Peay picked up its first UAC win of the season with a 38-16 victory over West Florida. Jaden Robinson led the offense with 108 receiving yards and a score while Courtland Simmons, Chris Parson and Denver Harper all scored on the ground for the Govs.
  • Kaden Anderson had a monster night for Tarleton State going 23-for-32 for 407 yards and three touchdowns in the Texans 25-point win over Merrimack.
  • North Alabama’s Destin Wade added to the Lions exciting day in the brand new Bank Independent Stadium going 15-for-30 through the air for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Wade added in a score of his own late in the fourth quarter to put the finishing touches on the 38-20 win over Alcorn State.
