JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced its weekly award winners for men’s and women’s golf for Thursday, Sept. 24.
MEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Cohen Kinnard, Central Arkansas
Kinnard led the Bears with a share of fourth place and a 206 (-4) final score. Kinnard carded rounds under-par in rounds one and three while shooting an even 70 in round two to lead the Bears to a fourth place finish at the GMAC Invitational.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Karra Tucker, EKU
Tucker finished with a share of 6th place at Kentucky’s Betty Lou Evans Invitational. The junior carded under-par for all three rounds for a 211 finish (-6) and beat out competition from Kentucky, Indiana, Penn State, California and Cincinnati.
