JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) continues to push the narrative of FCS football with three teams ranked in the most recent Stats Perform FCS Top-25 poll, it was announced Monday.
Tarleton State remains at No. 4 following a bye-week. The Texans are one of just a handful of teams still undefeated in FCS. Tarleton State will get back to action this week when it hosts Chicago State Saturday night.
Austin Peay comes in at No. 11 after another outstanding week with a 35-12 win over UT Martin. Quarterback Chris Parson accounted for over 93 percent of the Govs offense with 336 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns (2 rush, 1 rec.). Austin Peay will host New Haven this Saturday afternoon.
The Argos continue to make waves in their FCS football debut season following their 20-17 win over Southeast Missouri State this past week to move to 3-1 for the year. West Florida, who comes in at No. 17 this week, will get back to UAC play when it travels to Abilene Christian this weekend.
