JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced its weekly award winners for men’s and women’s golf for Thursday, Sept. 3.
MEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Ed Featherstone, Little Rock
Featherstone started the season with an impressive T-6th finish at the New York Harbor Cup at Bayonne Country Club. The junior shot six-under in the opening round before carding par in rounds two and three for a 207 finish against some of Division I’s top players.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week: Eleonore Aernouts, Little Rock
Aernouts finished 13th at the Boilermaker Classic, firing a 4-under (68) in the final round at the Kamper-Colser Course. The senior out of Elancourt, France carded final scores of 74-78-68 for a 220 (+4) finish to start the season.
