Husky Track
The 2022 WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place at Husky Track and will be hosted by Seattle University. Built in 2013, Husky Track features an 8-lane Beynon Sports surfaced track that is NCAA and IAAF certified and offers wide radius turns, 48° lanes, and arguably the fastest surface available. Also a field events paradise, the track boasts eight pole vault runways, four horizontal jumps runways, space for multiple high jump pits, two competition shot put rings, three discus rings, two javelin runways, and the best hammer cage and ring available.

Seattle U
Seattle University, founded in 1891, is a Jesuit Catholic university located on 50 acres in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. More than 7,200 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within eight schools and colleges. In the past 15 years, Seattle University has invested more than $200 million to build and renovate facilities. Thanks to a successful capital campaign, the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons was opened in September 2010, vastly improving the student’s access to new technology as a means of enhancing their education. In September 2011, a new fitness center and a new residence hall were dedicated, and in May of 2019, Seattle U broke ground on the Center for Science and Innovation – the university’s largest-ever capital project.
