The Faces of Title IX: The WAC’s Celebration of 50 Years of Title IX

The WAC is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Title IX with a special series featuring stories from conference members to commemorate the milestone anniversary of the passage of Title IX in 1972.  

Stories from current WAC institutions will be featured throughout the remainder of the 2022-23 academic year, highlighting key individuals from those institutions who have made a significant impact in and have promoted the importance of women in sports. 

In addition to this special series of stories, WAC assistant director of digital communications and conference reporter Kendra Sheehan will be highlighting influential and impactful women on various member campuses as part of the WAC Road Trip segments during the spring 2023 athletic season.
