DENVER – Chicago State's Camron Jones has been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for March 23-29.

Jones, a freshman from Indianapolis, tied for fourth at the Aggie Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T, to lead the Cougars to their top all-time finish for an all-division I field. After posting an 8-over-par 80 in the first round, he bounced back in the second round with a 3-over-par 75 and continued to get better, posting a 2-over-par 74 in the final round to earn the top-five finish. As a team, the Cougars finished fourth to set a new school record for finish.

Other nominees: Lamar's Hugo Hellman finished tied for eighth with a 1-under-par 215 at the Craft Farms Intercollegiate in Gulf Springs, Ala.
