DENVER – Seattle U's Harrison Murphy has been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for April 21 through April 26.

Murphy, a senior from McKinney, Texas, posted his highest career finish at the El Macero Classic, shooting a 4-under-par 212 to tie for seventh among 84 golfers. After firing a 1-under-par 71 in the first round and 2-over-par 74 in the second round, Murphy tied for the low round on the final day, shooting a 5-under-par 67 to move up 16 spots on the leaderboard to secure the top-10 finish.

Other nominees: Dixie State's Josh Pehrson tied for seventh at the PING Cougar Classic with a 6-under-par 210 to earn his first collegiate top-10 finish … Utah Valley's Joseph Glenn shot the fourth-lowest final round score with a 4-under-par 68 to tie for seventh at the PING Cougar Classic.
