STEPHEN F. AUSTIN EARNS AT LEAST A SHARE OF THE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP
Stephen F. Austin extended its unbeaten streak to 14 with a win over Utah Valley (3-1) on Nov. 4. With this win, the Ladyjacks have clinched at least a share of the WAC regular season championship and have extended their home winning streak to 28 which is the longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Sophomore outside hitter Camryn Hill recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 21 digs.
UT ARLINGTON AND CALIFORNIA BAPTIST CLINCHES WAC TOURNAMENT SPOTS
UT Arlington clinched a spot in the WAC tournament after a 3-0 sweep over Seattle U where the Mavericks hit .550 to produce the program’s best offensive performance since Nov. 20, 1992. California Baptist clinched a spot with a conference record of 7-7. The Lancers are led by senior outside hitter Michalina Rola, who has tallied 57 kills over her past four matches.

Tarleton State put up an impressive weekend with wins over Grand Canyon and California Baptist. Against Grand Canyon, the Texans secured their first ever victory over the Lopes, outscoring GCU in points (72), aces (11), blocks (12) and digs (57). The Texans then swept California Baptist on Nov. 4 with a team hitting percentage of .316. Abilene Christian also secured a win over California Baptist (3-2) coming back from being behind 0-2. Freshman outside hitter Ashli Edmiston only had seven kills after two sets but stepped up and led the Wildcats in kills with 19 on a. 351 hitting clip.

In the latest release of the NCAA RPI for the 2023 season on Nov. 5., Stephen F. Austin ranked among the national top 50 in the key metric that helps seed the NCAA Championship. The ‘Jacks checked in at 42nd with a 25-3 overall record. Stephen F. Austin ranks No. 6 in the nation in win-loss percentage with .893. The ‘Jacks are on a 14-match unbeaten streak with their last loss dating back to Sept. 19.
