ARLINGTON, Texas – Stephen F. Austin’s Ielan Bradley, Grand Canyon’s Klaire Mitchell and California Baptist’s Mia Jerue have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter and Libero of the week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 11.
 
Bradley, a senior right side, recorded 36 kills on a .468 hitting clip, while adding 10 blocks and 41 points this weekend at the Lumberjack Classic. In Stephen F. Austin’s win against Boise State, Bradley led the team with 17 kills and hit .517. She also recorded 14 kills and hit .400 in a win over Northern Arizona.
 
Mitchell, a graduate student setter, earned Hawkeye All-Tournament team recognition after recording 108 assists and 9.82 assists per set through three matches. In a dominating 3-0 sweep against Iowa, Mitchell had 32 assists, five digs and three blocks. She also had six aces, 18 digs, five blocks and three kills on the weekend.
 
Jerue, a junior outside, filled in at libero for the second-straight tournament with injuries to the two rostered liberos. Jerue compiled 52 digs (4.00 d/s),14 assists and eight aces this weekend. Jerue had a career-high and DI program record six aces in the win over Nevada, including the game-winning ace in the fifth set. Jerue helped the Lancers record a 3-0 record in the California Baptist-UC Riverside tournament with wins over Nevada, Oregon State, and UC Riverside.
