STEPHEN F. AUSTIN, CALIFORNIA BAPTIST, GRAND CANYON AND TARLETON STATE ATOP OF CONFERENCE RANKINGS
Stephen F. Austin, California Baptist, Grand Canyon and Tarleton State are all tied for first place after finishing 2-0 in the first week of conference play. Stephen F. Austin secured wins over UTRGV and UT Arlington, California Baptist and Grand Canyon both defeated Utah Tech and Southern Utah, while Tarleton State won against Utah Valley and Seattle U.

Three WAC student-athletes had 10-plus blocks and kill showings this past weekend. WAC Player of the Week
Izabella Ortiz from Stephen F. Austin had 13 kills and 12 blocks, Utah Valley’s
Caleigh Vagana recorded 14 kills and 15 blocks, and Tarleton State’s
Emma Burke secured 21 kills and 11 blocks.

Emma Burke all rank in the top 50 national rankings for total aces. Rola has 25 aces on the season and is tied for 32nd in the nation. Jerue and Burke each have 24 aces and rank No. 45.
UTRGV’S LUANNA EMILIANO RANKS NO. 20 IN NCAA FOR TOTAL ASSISTS
WAC Setter of the Week
Luanna Emiliano currently leads the WAC this season in total assists with 529, which ranks No. 20 in the NCAA. Emiliano ranks third in the WAC in assists per set with 9.62 and notched her eighth double-double this past weekend against UT Arlington.
CALIFORNIA BAPTIST SEVEN GAME WINNING STREAK
California Baptist extended its winning streak to seven victories in a row, equaling its longest of the D-I era with a 3-0 road sweep against Utah Tech and a 3-1 win over Southern Utah.
