ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Dane Huddleston has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfer of the Month for October 2024.

Huddleston, a sophomore, won back-to-back tournaments to close out the month after opening with a third-place finish. Huddleston captured medalist honors at the Hawaii Kapolei Invitational on Oct. 29-31, carding rounds of 67-75-68 to win by three strokes at 6-under-par 210. Huddleston earned his first career collegiate win at the Utah Collegiate Shootout on Oct. 14, shooting 64-68 to post 12-under 132 in the 36-hole event for a four-shot victory. Huddleston began the month with a third-place showing at the Oregon State Invitational Oct. 7-8, firing rounds of 68-69-72 to finish at 4-under-par 209.
