ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Tommaso Zorzetto has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week for the tournament week ending on Wednesday, March 13.
 
Zorzetto, a senior, was the solo medalist at the GCU Men’s Invitational on March 12-13 at the GCU Golf Course. Zorzetto carded rounds of 65-65-68 to shoot 15-under-par 198 on the par-70 layout. Zorzetto was one of three players in the 93-man field with three rounds in the 60s, logging a bogey-free 5-under 65 during his second round. Zorzetto registered 17 birdies and one eagle over 54 holes of the event.
