ARLINGTON, Texas – Stephen F. Austin’s Jaxon Griffith and California Baptist’s Fred Tindale have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfers of the Week for the tournament week ending on Wednesday, April 10.
 
Griffith, a senior, was the co-medalist of the Koasati Pines Intercollegiate April 8-9 at Koasati Pines in Kinder, Louisiana, helping lead SFA to solo second place as a team. Griffith fired rounds of 69-71-68 to finish at 8-under-par 208 on the par-72, 7,464-yard layout and climb six spots up the leaderboard from round two to the conclusion of round three. Griffith was second in the field with 14 birdies and was tied at the top of par-5 scoring with a 4.42 (-7) scoring average at Koasati Pines.

Tindale, a graduate transfer, emerged from a three-man playoff to take the individual win at the Irish Creek Collegiate on April 8-9 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Tindale reached the playoff with rounds of 71-67-70 to finish regulation play at 2-under 208 on the par-70, 7,038-yard course, and registered four straight pars to win in extra holes. Tindale ranked second in the field in par-4 scoring with a 3.92 (-3) scoring average during the tournament.
