ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Kennedi Knudsen, California Baptist’s Maddie Brown and UT Arlington’s Samantha Glenn have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter, and Libero of the week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 15.
 
Knudsen, a senior outside hitter, picked up her third consecutive WAC Player of the Week award after being named to the Boise State Invitational All-Tournament Team where she led Utah Tech to two sweeps. Knudsen led the conference last week with 4.33 kills per set and 4.78 points per set. She also collected the most kills in a three-set match in the WAC last week with 18 against San Francisco and 15 against Idaho State. Knudsen added 12 digs versus Idaho State for her fourth double-double of the season.
 
Brown, a redshirt-sophomore setter, led the WAC with 131 assists (10.08/set) last week which included at least 43 assists in all three of California Baptist’s contests. Brown totaled 44 assists in both matches against Cal State Fullerton and Portland State, the most by a WAC setter last week. Brown also tallied 37 digs, seven kills, five aces, and two blocks and earned a spot on The Joust All-Tournament Team.
 
Glenn, a junior libero, recorded the most digs (64) and digs per set (4.57) in the WAC last week and moves to 21^st in the country in total digs with 168. Glenn notched the most digs in the conference in a four-set match with 27 against Little Rock and in a five-set match with 25 against North Texas.
