ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Bella Wooden, UT Arlington’s Mira Ledermueller and Samantha Glenn have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter, and Libero of the Week, for the match week ending on Sunday, Sept. 28.
 
Wooden, a senior middle blocker, led Utah Valley to a pair of opening conference weekend sweeps and helped the Wolverines set a new program record for the most total blocks in a three-set match (19) with 11 total blocks herself against Abilene Christian. Wooden was an offensive and defensive threat as she finished the week with 10 kills, three service aces, and a .348 hitting percentage along with 13 total blocks and two digs for a total of 20.0 points (3.33/set). Wooden continues to lead the nation this season in total blocks (102) and is second in blocks per set (1.89).
 
Ledermueller, a junior setter, recorded 29 assists in UT Arlington’s sweep over Southern Utah and led the Mavericks to a .240 team hitting percentage. Ledermueller led the WAC in assists per set (9.67) in the opening conference week and ranks second in the WAC in assists per set this year (8.54).
 
Glenn, a junior libero, tallied 21 digs and five assists against the Thunderbirds for the most digs per set (7.00) in the WAC last week as well as the most total digs in a three-set match by a WAC libero this season. Glenn continues to lead the conference in digs per set (4.46).
