JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) highlights the Volleyball upcoming competition for the week of September 29.

The Wildcats return to Abilene for their first pair of home conference matches against Austin Peay on Thursday followed by Little Rock on Saturday. ACU is coming off a sweep at West Georgia where the UAC Defensive Player of the Week, Brennan Ramirez, tied the program's DI record for digs in a three-set match with 27.

Austin Peay caps off a three-match road trip with a battle at Abilene Christian on Thursday and will play its UAC home opener on Saturday as the Govs host Tarleton State. 

Central Arkansas notched its first win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Austin Peay last Saturday following a standout performance from the UAC Freshman of the Week, Kennady Martindale, who collected 16 kills with a .438 hitting percentage. The Bears will look to keep the momentum rolling with two road matches against West Georgia on Thursday and North Alabama on Saturday. 

EKU was one of two teams to start UAC competition 2-0 as the Colonels defeated UCA and Little Rock on the road last week. EKU will host Tarleton State on Thursday in a fight between the two final undefeated teams remaining in conference play followed by a Saturday afternoon battle at UT Arlington. 

The Trojans will head to Texas for a pair of matches in the Lone Star State beginning with UT Arlington on Thursday and finishing at Abilene Christian on Saturday. 

North Alabama heads to West Georgia to take on the Wolves in the lone UAC Tuesday match this week, then will host Central Arkansas on Saturday. 

After finishing their non-conference schedule with a 4-9 record, the Texans opened up UAC play with a 2-0 weekend, collecting wins over UTA and UNA. Tarleton State will head to EKU on Thursday in a battle between the two undefeated teams in UAC competition followed by a Saturday trip to Austin Peay.

UT Arlington is coming off a home win against West Georgia last Saturday and will look to keep the momentum going with another pair of home matches this week as the Mavs will square off with Little Rock on Thursday followed by EKU on Saturday. 

West Georgia will cap off a three-game homestand with matches against North Alabama on Tuesday and Central Arkansas on Thursday.
