JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) highlights the Women's Soccer upcoming competition for the week of September 22.
Abilene Christian picked up its fifth shutout of the season following a 5-0 victory over Texas Southern last Sunday. The Wildcats will open up conference play at Little Rock on Thursday, then will head to Stephenville, TX on Sunday for an in-state UAC matchup.
Austin Peay kicks off league play against two of the top UAC teams as the Govs head to Richmond, KY on Thursday and will host North Alabama on Sunday.
The Bears look to build on a 3-1 home record this season with two home matches this week, facing Tarleton State on Thursday and Little Rock on Sunday.
EKU's four wins in non-conference play was the most in the UAC to begin the season and the Colonels aim to keep their winning ways moving with home matches against Austin Peay on Thursday and West Georgia on Sunday.
Little Rock snapped a four-game losing skid with a 3-0 shutout against Kansas City last Saturday. The Trojans now turn their attention to UAC competition as they host ACU on Thursday and travel to Conway, AR to square off with UCA on Sunday.
North Alabama enters conference play with the best overall winning percentage in the league at .643, suffering only one loss in their non-conference schedule. The Lions will hit the road and will head to West Georgia on Thursday and Austin Peay on Sunday.
Tarleton State is riding on a two-game winning streak and a five-game unbeaten streak as the Texans have not suffered a loss since August 27 against UTRGV. The Texans look to carry that momentum into league play as they travel to UCA on Thursday and will host ACU on Sunday.
West Georgia will begin conference play this Thursday as the Wolves will host UNA followed by a road match at EKU on Sunday.
