JACKSONVILLE, Fla., - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) highlights the Women's Soccer upcoming competition for the week of October 27.
Abilene Christian closes the regular season with a pair of home matches as they will host Tarleton State and Little Rock. The Wildcats remain as the final standing team in the UAC to not have lost a conference match this season. ACU can clinch a spot into the UAC tournament with a win or draw versus the Texans on Thursday.
Austin Peay rounds out its regular season with a match at North Alabama followed by its home finale versus EKU. The Governors can clinch a postseason spot with a win or by matching West Georgia's result on Thursday.
Central Arkansas currently holds the final tournament spot in the Red Division and can punch its ticket with a win or a draw versus Little Rock on Thursday. The UAC tournament host will close out its regular season at Tarleton State.
EKU looks to return to the win column and carry some momentum into the conference tournament with a pair of road matches at West Georgia and Austin Peay. If EKU can claim more points than UNA on Thursday, the Colonels will be crowned the Blue Division champions.
Little Rock has one final weekend to keep their season going as they trail UCA, the third place team in the Red Division, by four points. The Trojans will host the Bears for a potential season-saving matchup before heading to ACU for their regular-season finale.
North Alabama returns home following a three-match road trip to host Austin Peay and West Georgia for their final two regular season matches. The Lions are still in contention for the Blue Division championship but will need to win both remaining matchups and have some help from other Blue Divisional matchups.
Tarleton State has taken over the top of the Red Division following a three-match winning streak where the Texans have outscored their opponents 10-0. The Texans will face ACU and UCA to wrap up the regular season and can claim the Red Division championship with a win over the Wildcats on Thursday.
West Georgia remains in the fight for a tournament spot as it'll host EKU for its home finale before heading to North Alabama to wrap up the regular season. The Wolves will need to finish the year with more than four points and have Austin Peay lose both of its matches to punch a postseason ticket.
